INTRODUCTION
We as medical professionals are dealing with immense pressure and human suffering, making our daily work lives more and more filled with gigantic stressors. Mental hurdles can become our biggest enemies in the struggle to prevail mentally and physically intact. This course will help you identify your own personal mental hurdles, and provide bridges of helpful concepts that will support you in overcoming them.

General Information
The material presented is sometimes repeated through various courses and modules, but there is a reason for that. What we are trying to do is to bring this material, these teachings, into our hearts and daily experience. Therefore, this is not like a classroom where you memorise it, take the exam and forget it. Our ultimate hope is for you to become more resilient, happy and whole, in the meantime growing compassion across the globe where it is needed the most.
Everything is impermanent, in a constant flux of change. Even during these unprecedented times, we will be able to turn the corner for brighter days. Stay strong, resilient and happy!

Death and dying is an integral part of life, yet it is also one of the most challenging aspects to deal with, for medical professionals, first responders, police officers, and anyone who is subjected to it within their professions. On top of the powerlessness comes the heaviness of being exposed to the dying person’s fears and anxiety, as well as immense suffering.
